PROCEED Foundation is opening its doors for a special Community Open House & Partnership Reception—an opportunity to experience the work happening today and get an inside look at what we are building for tomorrow.
Guests will tour PROCEED’s current spaces and learn more about the programs making an impact in our community, including STEAM Camp, our weekly Food Shelf, HBCU College Tour, youth programming, and family resources. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet the staff, volunteers, students, and community members who help bring this work to life.
The evening will continue with an exclusive look at the new Family Enrichment Center currently under construction. Guests will see the progress firsthand, hear the vision for the spaces being created, and learn how the completed center will become a lasting home for education, health, youth development, mental health support, and community resources.
The Family Enrichment Center is an investment in Saint Paul’s East Side and the generations to come. It is being created as a place where young people and families can access resources, discover opportunities, build meaningful connections, and thrive.

The PROCEED Foundation Family Enrichment Center is actively under construction and is on track for a Fall 2027 opening. This approximately $10 million investment will significantly expand PROCEED Foundation's ability to serve children, youth, and families across the East Side of Saint Paul. Designed to bring education, mentorship, workforce development, health and wellness services, and family support together under one roof, the center will provide a welcoming space where individuals and families can access the resources they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
More than just a building, the PROCEED Foundation Family Enrichment Center represents a long-term commitment to strengthening the community through opportunity, collaboration, and innovation. The center will serve as a year-round hub for STEAM education, after-school programming, career readiness, community events, and strategic partnerships that empower the next generation. Every program and service is designed to help families build brighter futures while creating a stronger, healthier, and more connected East Side community.

Founded 27 years ago as the Progressive Center for Education and Economic Development, now known as PROCEED Foundation, our organization initially focused on providing affordable housing for East Side and other Saint Paul residents. Over the years, our mission has grown to meet the evolving needs of our community.
More than a decade ago, PROCEED Foundation established the Progressive Early Childhood Education Center to provide quality early education for urban youth. We also launched Minnesota’s largest Black College Tour, giving young people the opportunity to explore post-secondary education options and broaden their future aspirations.
