Who We Are

We are a dedicated team of changemakers

We are a dedicated team of changemakers, guided by Christian values, committed to creating a lasting impact in our community.

Founded 27 years ago as the Progressive Center for Education and Economic Development (PRO.C.E.E.D.), our organization initially focused on providing affordable housing for Eastside and other St. Paul residents. Over the years, our mission has grown to meet the evolving needs of our community.

More than a decade ago, we established the Progressive Early Childhood Education Center to provide quality early education for urban youth. We also launched Minnesota’s largest Black College Tour, giving young people the opportunity to explore post-secondary education options and broaden their future aspirations.
